Creative Estonia

Creative Estonia is an initiative aimed at promoting and developing the creative industry sector in Estonia. The Creative Estonia portal gathers a lot of information and support material about creative industries in Estonia. It functions as a news portal for the sector in cooperation with partner organisations, offering up-to date information about events, studies, support measures and also featuring interviews and articles with outstanding people in the sector. One of the most visited pages focussed on starting and developing a creative business.

Tartu Centre for Creative Industries

The Centre operates as the coordinator of creative industries in Tartu and South Estonia by providing creative industries related information and training, legal and economic consulting for creative entrepreneurs, as well as business incubation (and pre-incubation) services.

Tallinn Business Incubators

Business Support and Credit Management Foundation (ESA) is a support measure for start-up businesses with an objective to support the growth of sustainable start-ups with export potential. ESA Creative Industries Development Centre supports creative individuals and firms all over Estonia in the development of their business activities, internationalisation and in increasing sales on foreign markets.

Ajujaht is the biggest entrepreneurial contest in Estonia. It takes place once in a year. Bring out Your business idea, compete with other member teams and win price money for starting up with Your business.

Startup Wise Guys

Startup Wise Guys provides seed funding and an intense mentorship program to early stage technology startups that are looking to crank up their business. The program is hosted twice a year and up to 10 new Wise Guys teams are accepted to each cycle of acceleration. During the twelve-week program, the companies work intensively to plan, build and eventually introduce their products to angel investors and venture capitalists. The ultimate goal of the Startup Wise Guys program is to help promising startup companies realize their potential.


Garage48 events started in Estonia in April 2010 and have expanded to other countries in Northern Europe and Africa since then. All Garage48 events are held in English and have ~100 participants from different countries. Participants have different skills, ranging from software development to design, marketing, sales and entrepreneurship.
